The objective of the Research on International Sales, Pricing & Profitability, is to clarify how to optimise profitability, when building international distribution and to develop an understanding of the time it takes to reach break-even and pay-back when establishing new export markets, based on different distribution structures.

Increasing sales through international distribution is not just about selling more - it's all about optimising profitability between understanding the scale advantages in the supply chain and production capacity  on the one side, and understanding the ideal price-profit structure in the distribution chain.

Undertaking the Research

We are looking for internationally established businesses
On a highly confidential basis, we are looking to engage with companies established on a minimum of 10 markets, to clarify the following questions:

  1.  Time from first market contact to operational break-even
  2.  Time from first market contact to capital allocation/investment pay-back
  3.  Time between approaching new markets
  4.  Actual value of sales per month until break-even
  5.  Actual value of sales per month until investment pay-back
  6.  Method of market establishment
  7.  Price-Profit Structure in the distribution chain for the given market
